I am obsessed with these bars. They're so easy to make and I love keeping them in my freezer for a quick snack, breakfast or guilt-free dessert. If you like almond butter, coconut or chocolate, you need to make these bars a part of your life ASAP. The best part about these bars is that they taste indulgent but have zero-sugar and they're packed with lots of healthy fats to keep you full for hours. They also take about 5 minutes to make and you probably already have most of the ingredients in your pantry. Enjoy!!
Ingredients for bars:
*Makes about 6 bars 1 bar = 180 calories
1/3 cup nut butter of choice (I like almond butter)
1/3 cup coconut butter (I like the Artisanabrand)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp raw cacao powder (I like Navitas Organics)
1 scoop Vital Proteins collagen powder (optional)
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut shreds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 dash nutmeg
2 dashes sea salt
Ingredients for chocolate drizzle:
2 tsp cacao powder
1 Tbsp coconut oil
1 Tbsp coconut butter
Directions:
Blend all bar ingredients (you may need to heat up the nut butter and coconut butter for easier mixing) together and pour into a pan lined with parchment paper.
Blend chocolate drizzle ingredients and pour on top of bars before or after freezing.
Place in freezer for at least 30 minutes before eating.
