SIMPLE GRAIN-FREE TRAIL MIX


I never leave home without some kind of snack, like nuts, nut butters, seeds, or fruit. My goal for a snack is that it is easy-to-eat and nutrient dense. This simple grain-free trail mix is packed with healthy fats, fiber and protein. It also has no-added sugars but still satisfies a sweet tooth. I love making this recipe in bulk and carrying around smaller portions in ziploc bags or tupperware. It's also delicious sprinkled over yogurt or a smoothie bowl. Feel free to play around with proportions of specific ingredients depending on what you like the most! Happy Snacking!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sliced raw almonds

  • 1/4 cup raw chopped walnuts

  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

  • 1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds

  • 1/4 cup goji berries

  • 1/4 cup dried mulberries

  • 2 tbsp cacao nibs

  • Cinnamon Sprinkle to taste (optional)

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients together and store in an air-tight container. Enjoy!
